Formed in 2012, in Toronto, Canada, Kush is the culmination of vast musical taste, talent, experience and appreciation. As a band, their goal is to create provocative and fresh sounds while expressing their love for the art of music.

Though Kush is relatively new, the band itself is comprised of 5 life-long musicians who bring years of experience to the table.

Desiree started writing at a young age. Her poems turned into songs and her voice grew stronger as the years passed. Inspired by the likes of Amy Winehouse, Erykah Badu, Janis Joplin, Beth Gibbons and many more, her experiences and observations come through in every word she sings.

Bassman Da Funk has been making music for years. A guitarist, house producer and former drummer, Bassman found his true calling when he picked up a bass. Inspired by the likes of Louis Johnson, Bootsy Collins and Victor Wooten, his bass lines will put some funk in your step.

Butter Kash was born with a guitar in his hands. He's been perfecting his craft since he was a child, experimenting with different sounds, techniques and constantly evolving as a musician. But he's no one trick pony. Butter is also a very capable and accomplished producer.

Paulie Two Timez is an extremely eclectic multi-instrumentalist. While he is also an awesome guitar and bass player, he is the backbone of Kush, tying the band together with his slick rhythm. If you need something to step to, Paulie is your man.

Fresco Rhodes is a very experienced keyboardist with a style unmatched by any other. His smooth melodies and intricate structuring will hit you deep in your soul. If that wasn't enough, he's also a talented producer.

Together they form a sound that can only be described as an experience. Take funk, soul, jazz, r&b, hip hop and house, roll them all together, light it up and you'll have Kush.
